Review by Fernando N. on April 26, 2017It's horses for courses. Some people like the original sound. For me it doesnt sound very good with original tube, too harsh and not exactly warm. I put a JJ 12AX7 and it's a keeper. Very good blues and rock overdrive in my humble opinion. I play single coils mainly. The sound also depends on what amp it's going through.
People need to remember tone is a very personal choice. -
