The 7.2mm oak provides warm tonal qualities with a full bodied presence when tuned up high. The 1mm steel builds on this adding exceptional power and durability to drive through the mix. This snare is fitted with a satin wenge hoop delivering further warmth and durability to the Equator. The perfect size for the perfect sound. The 14 x 5.5 shell provides a tight snappy tone. When tuned up the 14 x 5.5 Equator provides a precise and rapid tone while a lower tuning results in a wider dirtier tone.
